Had a bit of difficulty trying to find the hotel, due to poor signage. You could help yourself to some amenities such as coffee and milk. Very good internet access as I was placed onto the top floor. Generally, has plain and basic rooms, but it is adequate considering the low price.
The manager Steve was so nice and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean. It's a good place for our stopover on our way up to Scotland. Would definitely go back.
Clean, efficient, no frills and bargain priced. I stayed for an event 4 miles away and sorting taxis in advance is key for this location. It's situated in the service station so has 24h facilities within a few minutes walk. Friendly helpful desk staff. Good sized room. Very much fit for a purpose. Only negative is no safe in the room.
Great friendly staff easy to get to. The cleaners could do more work. Lots of dust and my room hadn't been hoovered. But for a quick stay it's ideal.
Brilliant place to stay, the lady on reception was lovely and very helpful and the gentleman on reception at night was great, very down to earth and such a welcoming atmosphere and after staying in a Premier inn for the previous 2 nights id honestly say I wish I booked the Travelodge. Pillows are comfortable and the bed was amazing. Considering its on service station, its very quiet and the Internet £7 for 2 nights absolute bargain and very strong service. Thankyou very much to the staff who work here you all made our stay that little bit more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning for our future trips
Newly renovated room, well done. Friendly staff, and great location. BP station next door and lots of options for take away. To cross the M6 traveling South bound there is a “secret” U turn road behind the BP station. You do not need to travel southbound on the M6 as google maps may suggest for 30 minutes in order to cross over.
Lovely staff, the room had a bit of an unfortunate smell and one of the bedside lights aren't working however the room was clean and comfortable. We used the hotel to help break up the journey and it served its purpose. I would certainly use this hotel for short stays in the future.
This seems to be one of the older hotels. The room was very small with not enough plug sockets and no usb sockets. But it was clean and staff were very polite. Shower was great and had enough power to provide a good water flow. It was surprisingly quiet given it was located in the service area.
